Water Kefir requires minerals in addition to sugar in order to ferment properly. Molasses is the typical mineral source used however it does have several downsides, besides being a pungent flavor, molasses is high in iron and copper which can cause dietary imbalances. We have created a mineral blend that adequately replaces molasses for a successful fermentation. 

INSTRUCTIONS: Dissolve Sugar and Mineral Powder in water before mixing with water and kefir grains.
